ExactSeek

ExactSeek is a newer meta data search engine which primarily categorizes web sites bases on ... meta data. While this technology is quick, easy, and simple to run it has fundamental flaws. Many of the top listings in ExactSeek would be considered spam in other search engines.

To help compensate for the poor search quality ExactSeek is integrating Alexa data into its search. The only problem with that is that Alexa does not have broad enough distribution to be an accurate measure of the entire internet. The ExactSeek search results are rather poor.

ExactSeek offers higher rankings if you use their search on your site. I would not recommend placing a low quality search service on your site when you could be making money from partnering with someone like Google to provide a much better search.

It is not a great idea to super optimize your title and meta data to achieve top listings in ExactSeek as that same title and meta data may make your site look spammy to the blind eye. If you were to want to achieve top ExactSeek rankings you would probably have to use a bait and switch technique with your meta tags, but I do not recommend using this technique with any search engine.

In a category where relevancy wins distribution, ExactSeek must seek out new webmasters (who are somewhat unaware of how search works) to make any profit.
