Doorway Pages

Doorway Pages - pages that were not part of the original web design that have been highly optimized for certain key words and are used to channel traffic. If doorway pages are part of the general web design this is acceptable, but if the sole goal is to pick up and redirect traffic then the doorway pages are considered spam by most major search engines as it degrades the experience of their searchers to be redirected through meaningless pages.
