False Copy Display

False copy display is a technique where one unscrupulous party takes content and ideas from other web sites and presents the copy as if it were unique and originally created on that web site.

Often sites copy display from another site with a link back to source of the copy and the permission of the writer. False copy display usually occurs when the original writer has no idea his content is on another site.
